ก่อนใช้งานซองดูดออกซิเจนควรรู้ว่าปริมาณออกซิเจนที่หลงเหลืองในบรรจุภัณฑ์ (ซีซี)

มีวิธีคำนวณจากปริมาตรบรรจุ (ซม.) และน้ำหนักสินค้า (ก.)

ตัวอย่างวิธีคำนวน

ปริมาณออกซิเจนหลงเหลือในกล่องสี่เหลี่ยม

(กว้างxยาวxสูง) - (น้ำหนักสินค้า) x 21%

(10 ซม. x 15 ซม. x 8ซม.) - 800 กรัม x 21% = 84มล.

**21% คือปริมาณออกซิเจนในอากาศ*

= (width x length x height) - (content weight) x 21%
